Account & Login
Open the BingeAmigo app and tap Sign Up. Enter your email and choose a password. You can also sign in with Google on supported platforms. Your account syncs across Android, iOS, and the web app automatically.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your data is removed within 30 days. You can also visit our account deletion page for more information.
Go to your Profile tab and tap the edit icon. You can update your display name and profile photo at any time. Changes sync instantly across all devices.
Tracking
Tracking & Watchlist
Search for any title in the Search tab and tap it to open the detail page. Tap Add to Watchlist to save it. You can view your full watchlist in the Library tab.
Open a TV show's detail page and navigate to the Episodes section. Tap the checkmark next to any episode to mark it as watched. You can also mark entire seasons at once.
Yes — you can mark past shows and movies as watched at any time. Just search for the title and use the tracking options on the detail page. There's no limit to how far back you can go.
On any movie or show detail page, tap the star rating or the Write a Review button. Reviews must be at least 50 characters to be published and earn XP.
Social
Social Features
Go to the Search tab and search by username. Tap a user's profile and send them a friend request. Once they accept, their activity will appear in your Home feed.
Your activity (what you watch, your reviews and ratings) is visible to your friends within the app. If you remove a friend, they will no longer see your activity in their feed.
In the Home feed, tap the reaction button on any activity card to leave a reaction. Your friend earns a small XP bonus when they receive reactions.
XP & Levels
XP & Leveling Up
You earn XP for tracking activity in BingeAmigo:
- Mark a movie watched: 20 XP
- Mark an episode watched: 3 XP
- Add to watchlist: 5 XP
- Rate a movie or show: 15 XP
- Write a review (50+ chars): 25 XP
- Complete a season: +30 XP bonus
- Complete a show: +75 XP bonus
- Add a friend: 20 XP
- 7-day activity streak: 50 XP bonus
XP is awarded once per action per title — repeating the same action won't earn it again. There are also daily caps: episode XP is capped at 30 XP/day per show, and reaction XP is capped at 20 XP/day total. Reviews must be at least 50 characters to qualify.
There are 100 levels total, each with a unique title — from Couch Potato at Level 1 all the way to The Amigo at Level 100. Your current level and progress are shown on your profile.
